Today is 5 June 2025, World Environment Day. The theme of the day was “We want a permanent end to plastic pollution, save the environment by conserving rivers, wetlands, forests and biodiversity.” The day was celebrated by Barakupat Ganachetna Foundation in Shyamnagar, Satkhira. It was organized in collaboration with Mr. Md. Rafiqul Islam, Founder and CEO of Disability Inquisition Activities-DIA NGO, Jhenaidah. The main sponsor of the event was ALRD, Lalmatia, Dhaka.
